This little stopping off place is easy to find. If you're heading up the mountain, as these pages are, just look on your left.
Conversely, if you're heading down, look on the right. After a series of switchbacks the road straightens out. The meadow is the
only wide open space you'll see on this route. People have driven into the meadow, and you'll see the tire tracks. People have
built fires off towards the trees, and you'll see the fire rings. It's a pleasant place to wander if that interests you. :-) - gm
