If you park at Koosah Waterfall and hike downstream until you cross the bridge at Carmen Reservoir and then hike
upstream, you will see many wondrous sights as they occur instead of having to turn around and view them as you walk
downstream. This is my preferred route when hiking the Waterfalls Loop Trail on the wild and scenic McKenzie River.
