A short hike on the McKenzie River National Recreation Trail brings one in contact with waterfalls at the
headwaters of the McKenzie River. Stopping at Koosah Waterfalls first. Just head east along the river and you'll see several
little falls on the river, made all the more magnificent because of the color. In time you'll come to Sahalie Falls.

This hike is only about 0.5 a mile one way. The trail is not smooth, it's marked by roots, but it's not difficult. It's beautiful.

Back ~ An Unnamed Waterfall on heading down the mountain from the McKenzie Pass - Santiam Pass Oregon Scenic Byway.
