We had trouble finding the trail after we crossed the bridge at Carmen Reservoir and found something that looked like
a might have been, but was not. However, we had fun before turning back. So, to let all of you know, once you cross the bridge at Carmen Reservoir, walk away from the river towards the restroom. The trail is to the right not too far before the restroom.

Protect our National Forests and Wilderness Areas. Leave NO Trace.
Check with the US Forest Service on fires danger, roads and other conditions
in the forest before setting out on your journey.
