Brice Creek: Camping and Hiking Trails.

Brice Creek offers a nice leisurely stroll in a rocky canyon, proffering many waterfalls like the one pictured above. The tempest of the flow depends on the time of year. These photos were taken in spring, but both winter and spring had been dry. I've been there since that time, and the creek definitely has a wonderful personality. Trestle Creek Falls can also be accessed from this hiking trail. Four times I've tried to make that hike, and it hasn't worked out. Once men were dynamiting the trail. Obviously that wasn't a good time. :) -gm

Brice Creek hiking trail is accessed off of I -5 at Cottage Grove, Oregon. From I - 5 take exit 174 and drive east for 19.4 miles until the junction for Layng Creek and Brice Creek Roads. Turn right on Brice Creek Road, #22, and continue for 4.7 miles to Cedar Creek Campground and the trailhead.
