Autumn sets the stage for sunset on Klamath Lake in Wood River Wetlands.

Wood River Wetland, a most attractive and recently restored wetland. A fine addition to Klamath Wildlife
Refuge, Klamath Marsh, and the other refuges in Klamath Basin as well as those further south.

Wood River Wetland teems with wildlife, especially waterfowl. Often dense in water vegetation to the degree of
a botanical garden. Great for a simple hike, walking out on the considerable "peninsula" or canoeing through
water lilies (wocus), tules, etc. The din of myriad and considerable bird populations lend a poignant,
soothing ambience. A worthwhile venture. - bk
