Although the ridge pictured above and below looks knobby and quite interesting to the naked eye
when standing alongside the lake, but the extreme ruggedness, the jagged knife edge to these ridges is in no way
apparent unless one has a binoculars, or like me, a zoom lense on a camera.
Travel northern California. See the Marble Mountains, the Salmon Mountains, the beautiful Salmon River, Sawyer's Bar, the best
living mining town, the magnificent Salmon River Gorge. Raft the river, try your hand at mining and/or fishing. Hike the Russian Wilderness in the Klamath National Forest. Or simply enjoy yourself sightseeing.
