Surprise Valley, where past steps right along in the present.

This abandoned house, a ruin of another time, speaks of a way of life now passing, if it hasn't
already passed. Still, it was quite a home and has presence even now.

 

The Warner Mountains form a magnificent backdrop to Surprise Valley,
where deer roam freely, feeding in the yard.
