It's been awhile since I've walked this trail. (It can hardly be called a hike.) But this is what you need to do: when you arrive in Prospect, Oregon, drive until you're almost out of town. When you see the General Store on the right park in the parking lot across the street. If you come to the bridge, you've gone too far. In that case, turn around and drive about a half of a mile. This time the store will be on the left. The trail has a small parking lot, park there, walk out of the parking lot as if you're walking away from the store, and you'll see the trail. It's not far from the bathroom. At first you'll be heading south roughly. If I remember correctly the trail curves around.

The trail passes by Pearsoney Waterfalls and then goes down to the banks of Mill Creek just below the Avenue of Giant Boulders. Every step of this walk or hike, whatever you decide to call it, is beautiful. I will head over there in a month or so and firm up these directions, but for now, this will have to do. :-) gm.
